- Description
Boni writes to Giulia Kortischoner telling her he received Mia Hasterlik's letters that Giulia had forwarded him via Uncle Friedländer. Boni also writes that Elizabeth "Lisl" Urbantschitsch told him she invited Giulia to Vienna for Easter and hopes she will come although Boni does not necessarily advise doing anything that would delay Giulia's departure for the United States and Mia. Boni writes about the strain of being separated from his loved ones for years and his joy at reconnecting with them. He recounts tales from his experience in the military and mentions to Giulia that she has some money still in the bank in Austria. He wishes to see her again, but also hopes she arrives in the United States as soon and as safely as possible.
