Man standing next to large pig, nursing piglets, surrounded by chickens and palm trees. Handwritten on back: "Charles A. Charter, originally from Vermont. Brother of George H. K. Charter." Historical note: Charles A. W. Charter (1857-1920) was the brother of George H. K. Charter, who settled in Manalapan in about 1880 and died in 1892.
